IDPS of Bajaur Agency going back to homes.




Peshawar: Internally displaced people (IDPS) of Bajaur Agency are going back to their homes, on Wednesday.


Bajaur Agency affected people are living in Jaluzai Camp from last 3 years. The area of Bajaur agency Mamoond and Nawagai are clear from terrorists, so the effected people of this area are return to their home. In 1st step 269 families are going back while 5000 families are still living in camp. According to the IDPS of Bajaur agency that the basic facilities are not provided in camp.

The administration gives transport cost and gives 3 month food items to the returnees. While the effected people demands to the government to ensure the health facility and the rehabilitation of schools in their areas.

School teacher violence

Peshawar: School teacher violence on 13 year student Haris in Peshawar.

Haris is the student of 9th Class and studying in government high school civil quarter. He was at home due to the Appendence Operation. He said that he submitted his 20 days leave application in school. When he went to school then his chemistry teacher Bakhtiyar asked him about the home work. He told them that he was on leave and his home work copy is not completed then his teacher Bakhtiyar start beating him and he feel unconscious. The school teacher shifted him to hospital for medical treatment.

His brother Touseef said when Haris come to home then he was unconscious. He said that his father go to school for asking reason. Then school teacher told him that he did not complete his homework that’s why he punishes Haris.

While the school teacher Bakhtiyar refuses that he did not beat Haris. He just give his punishment. He said that the student’s parents did not cooperate with teachers.

In Pakistan the government ban on violence on children or child students. If the teacher are react like animals with their students then the students does not continue their studies they think that are weak in studies.

Pakistan close Nato supply line

Pakistan closure Nato supply line.  Here on Saturday.

Nato forces cross the Pakistani border and attacked on the Salala check posts in Mohmand Agency in which 24 soldiers were killed and 13 other were injured late Friday night. Due to this accident Pakistan Immediately closure the NATO supply line. Trucks carrying supplies for Nato forces in Afghanistan are stopped.

Higher education introduce four year degree program

Peshawar: Higher Education introduce four years degree program, here on Tuesday.

Higher Education held a Regional Conference on the restructuring and reorganization of the HEC. In this conference all the male and female principles of the government colleges participated. In the conference Additional Secretary Dr. Khalid present his presentation on the higher education project.

 Project Manager Muhammad Tariq said that the main purpose of this project is the improvement of Higher Education and to adopt the strategy for higher education

Minister for Higher Education (HE) Qazi Asad said that in Budget the government preserved 1% for higher education, but still in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa it is good. He urged that the Government should preserve at least 4% for HE. Qazi Asad said that this program will provide employment opportunities for students, and poor students will continue their BS program in government colleges on low costs.  

After the consultation with the government colleges and universities principals we will make a Provincial Higher Education Council.

Blind family waiting for government aid

Peshawar: the poor family of Tajabad has blind and waiting for government and richer aids.

There are 4 persons including a woman who are victim of eyes illness. The mother of these victim persons Zahida BiBi who is basically belongs to Charsadda District but living in Peshawar with their family. She is working in the other people homes. She said that her 3 sons Asad Ullah, Nasir Ahmad, Alamgir and one daughter Abida Bibi is the victim of blindness. She said that I request that every one should help me.  She said that his 4 sons have been already died because of poverty. When she was talking with media she was weeping and requests that the government should save his grand son.

 Alamgir (also blind) is a teacher in private school. He gives regional education to the students. He said that he can not afford his house expenses because their financial resources are not enough .and also he wish to buy a home for their family. His son is also affected of blindness.

Abida Bibi said that she is very much thankful to his brother who supports her.

mother and child week programe


Peshawar:  Family planning and primary Health care, Ministry of Health is launching the Mother  & Child week, from 14 to 19 November 2011.
The CIRD coordinator Dr Nosheen Kan said in a press conference in press club Peshawar that in Pakistan every year 432,000 children dies under-five years and 20,000 mothers due to pregnancy and child birth. While in Khyber pakhtunkhwa province100 of every 1000 children die before their fifth birthday due to the pneumonia and diarrhea.  Pneumonia and diarrhea are seasonal calamities and preventable.
She said that Pakistan has committed that to a Millennium Development Goal of reducing under-five deaths to 52 per 1,000 births. She said that we are start it from the three camps including the Jalozai,Benazir and Togh Sarai camps of internally displaced persons for awareness of delivery on Maternal, New born and child health care. She further said that we are trying to reduce the rate of child death.

Blast in Kharkhano Market peshawar


Peshawar:  Blast has occurred in Kharkhano market Peshawar von Wednesday, at 11am.
The terrorist targeted the tribal elder Malik Taj. The blast was occurred at that time when he was going to home and the terrorist targeted his car. The unknown terrorist kept the explosive in Alto car. His car and 9 other cars were completely damaged.
In this blast 13 persons were injured. The injured persons were shifted to the Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC). After the blast police cordon off the area and start investigation. The police officials confirmed that it was a planted bomb. The Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU) superintendent Police (SP)Mian Muhammad Saeed Jan confirmed that 12kg explosive were use and it was a planted blast.
 The Medical superintendent (MS) of the hospital conformed that 13 persons have shifted to the hospital and in this 11 persons 7 injured are still in under treatment.

The Holy Place of Hindu Community has reopened once again in Peshawar.


Peshawar: Tahsil Mandir has reopened after 60 years, here on Tuesday.It was closed from 60 years. According to the Hindu Community leader Kaka Ram that when Tahsil Park was in process then the local administration closed that Mandir, so for this illegal step of the administration. We filed a petition in High Court, and the court issued the reopen order of Mandir. |On the first day they celebrated Dewali in Goro Gorakh Nath Mandir.
Kaka Ram demands the Government to give security to the Mandir because every Region has their own traditions. He said that when the Holy Month of Ramadan camethe Hindu community respect it.  And when the Eid-ul-Miladan Nabi come we decorated all the mosques very beautifully. So the government should provide security for this Mandir.
Kaka Ram further said that the walls of this Mandir is too much short and we are very much afraid of our Holy place he demanded that the government should support them to built new walls.
The Hindu community were very much happy, they said that the opening of this Mandir will able the Hindus to pray in their worships.
