Due to the heavy fog Peshawar to Rashaki interchange was closed.

Peshawar: Peshawar to Rashaki interchange was closed due to the heavy fog but after the six hours it was opened once again.

.According to the motorway police heavy loaded vehicles were coming from Islamabad to Peshawar was diverted to the GT-Road.

The heavy fog affected the life in many areas Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa. Due to the fog Peshawar to rashaki interchange were closed because the passengers and drivers facing a lot of problems

But know the motorway was open once agai

Protest against the Wapda privatization.

Pesco protest against the privatization of wapda, unemployment, high prices of electricity and political interference in national institutions in all over the province, more then 4000 employs of Pesco participated in protest.

The federal chairman Gohar Taj, Provincial chairman Muhammad Iqbal, Deputy chairman Mutajab mazdooryar, deputy sectary Ali Saeed and other wapda officials protest in front of Peshawar press club. They hold a banner and play cards in their hands and slogan against the privatization of wapda and high prices of electricity.


Later on the protesters march towards the Governor House. In this occasion federal chairman Gohar Taj forced the government that the government must revise the order of   wapda privatization. He said that the through wapda privatization the rate of unemployment and the prices of electricity will increase which effect the poor people and also effect the economy of Pakistan.

Gohar said that the former chairman of Pakistan people party Zulfikar Ali Bhuto give rights to the hard workers and his policies were nationalization not privatization. But it is the bad luck that today the people party wants to privatize wapda. He said that the government reinstated the former government officers who suspended in previous eras. Chairmen said that we are the employ of wapda so no one can privatize this institute.  He said that if the government doesn’t revise on their decision then the all over the country wapda officials protest in front of parliament house and the government will responsible of it. He further said that the government will reduce their expensive so that the country will run towards the development

Cops of Commander Khalid Rabani visited the chrysanthemum flower exhibition


Peshawar: the cops of Commander Khalid Rabani visited the chrysanthemum flower exhibition in Garrison Park, here on Saturday

In this occasion Commander Khalid said that Peshawar is known as the flower city know it convert into pollution of garbage, we all are responsible for the pollution in Peshawar. Khalid said that who destroy the peace of Pakistan they are opposite of our living. That is our duty that we must live with the solidarity and peace.

He appreciates the organizer of chrysanthemum flower and said that it will reduce the pollution in the city. He also distributed the prizes in chrysanthemum flower maker.

Muharram processions in Peshawar

Peshawar: The 10th day of Muharram, processions were taken out from the various parts of the city that marched on the various roads and culmination at their respective destinations peacefully.

Nine districts of Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa had been declared sensitive, in Peshawar on the 10th Muharram processions were taken out from the various Imambaraghs but the main procession as taken out from the Razi shah Imambaragh.

The mourners including women are children were participated in processions and took out Zuljinah procession. The participate tributes the martyrs of Karbala by reciting the Marsia and Noha.  The religious scholars said the Muharram remember us the great sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RH) and his companions for supremacy of Islam.

The procession were passing through the traditional routs and end on the same Imambaragh from where the procession started. Zuljinah processions were also taken out from the various areas of Peshawar including kohati, Kochi bazaar.

SP city police Amtiyaz said that due to the security reasons the entrance and existence were closed and more then 6000 police were placed in the city. He said that police are deployed while the Army and frontier constabulary put on stand by.
