2 police personnel died and 4 other injured in blast.

Peshawar: 2 persons personnel were died and 4 persons were sustained injuries in a powerful remote control blast near
Kohat Road
, Bhanamari( place in kohat road) surrounding area of Peshawar.

Police said that the blast took place near police patrolling car in the area of kohat road, Bhanamar. In the result 2 police personnel were died and 4 others were critically injured.

After the blast police personnel and local people shifted the dead bodies and injured persons to lady Reading hospital (LRH). The hospital authorities identified the dead bodies as Hussain (SPO) s/o Hassan age 30 years and Hazrat Ali (SI) s/o Sheer age 40 years, the civilian are Shahid s/o Zaman age 40 years, Gul Ishaq s/o Noor Muhammad age 50 years while the 2 injured police personnel identified as Meer Zali s/o Meer Ali age 45 years, Imtiaz Ahmad (Driver) s/o Abdul Jalil.

Police patrolling van was completely destroyed. While 3 other cars were also completely damaged due to the blast.

After the blast police cordoned off the area and start search operation.

Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU) confirmed that 12 kilogram explosive had been used in blast, and was kept in auto vehicle (Rikshaw).
