SP died and 3 police personnel injured in suicide blast.

Peshawar: Police Superintendent was died and 3 police personnel were injured in a suicide bomb blat at Pishtakhar, the surrounding area of Peshawar.

Police said that the Superintendent police (SP) Kalam Khan was in patrolling police van that the suicide bomber blew himself up. In the result SP Kalam Khan was died on spot and his body guard and driver were injured in this blast.

The dead body and injured persons were taken to the Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) and Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar (LRH). The hospital authorities identified that Hidayat, Liyaqat are in HMC while one injured person Gohar is in LRH.

After the blast police cordoned off the area and start search operation.

Assistant inspector General (AIG), Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU) Shafqat Malik said the reporters that 5 to 6 kilogram explosive and ball barriers had been used in the blast. AIG said that we have found the attacker Head and start investigation.

  

after the blast Provincial Minister for information and Broadcasting Mian Iftikhar Hussain said the reporters that some times terrorist attack on the mosques and now they are attacking on security Forces. He said terrorist want to pressurize the government but government fight against the terrorists.

The SP Kalam khan funeral prayers were offered in the Police Line Peshawar in which Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor and Chief Minister and other government top officials including police officer participated.
