Seminar on Kashmir dispute in university of peshawar


Peshawar: While showing his reservations over declaring India as a most favorite nation, Former prime minister of Azad Kashmir Sadar Atiq ahmad khan said on Monday that role of media in highlighting the Kashmir dispute is essential and that it should has fully access.

He expressed these views while addressing a seminar titled “Role of media in Kashmir dispute” organized by university of Peshawar Kashmiree students at Agha Khan Auditorium, university of Peshawar.

On the occasion University of Peshawar Vice Chancellor Dr Azmat Hayat, teachers and students at large number were also present.

He said that former President of Pakistan General Parvaz Musharaf gave liberty to media and we are happy on role played by the media in highlighting the long awaited issue of Kashmir.

Sardar Atiq categorically said that he has some reservations on declaring Indaa as most Favorite Nation Status on part of Pakistan.

“I want that Pakistan should improve bilateral relation with India but it should not gave most favorite nation status to India yet”, he added

Former PM said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa people give a lot of sacrifices on Kashmir dispute and we give tribute to these people.

He urged that Kashmir is the part of Pakistan because the history of Kashmir is the part of Pakistan history.
